Beugin Hall

Beugin Hall can accommodate up to 70 people (1171 sq.ft.), has air-conditioning and is located on the upper level, accessed by stairs only.
It measures 24′ x 49′. A small kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave and sink.  Tables (rectangular, 2′ x 6′, seating 8) and folding chairs are available for use (set-up not included).

The hall must be cleaned and vacated by 7:00pm on Sunday, 10:00pm Monday to Thursday and 12:00am on Friday and Saturday.

Rental cost is $42.00/hour  (GST included) for  a 2 hour minimum rental.  A $400 damage deposit is also required.  Non-refundable deposits of $50 will be collected for rentals that are more than 3 months in advance.  Picture ID must be shown.

Payment by credit card or e-transfer is accepted.

Liquor permits are to be purchased by the person renting the hall and signing the rental contract.  A copy of the liquor permit is to be provided by renter before the rental.

Decorating is permitted, however only painter’s tape may be used on the walls (no pins, tacks, nails, masking tape etc).   Fog machines, or any other machines that generate steam or smoke are not permitted as the fire alarms will be set off. Renters will be liable for a $300 false fire alarm cost.

Please note that the Rosedale Community Association is volunteer-run (no staffed office); to view the hall or to sign a rental contract, a specific day and time must be arranged in advance with the Rental Co-ordinator.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
The Calgary Rosedale Community Association (RCA) has installed video surveillance as one means to protect our users, renters, community residents, facilities and equipment.
This equipment is to be used for security purposes. It may be monitored during any rental/usage to observe first time renters, large events, reported suspicious activity and to verify the arrival/departure time of renters. It may be used following any rental/usage to verify compliance to any guidelines or rules.
