The May edition of the Rosedale Reporter includes an article from The City of Calgary regarding upcoming community design workshops for the Rosedale affordable housing development that were scheduled for late May. The workshops were intended to provide residents with the opportunity to share input and ideas into design concepts for the affordable housing units with the designers selected for the project.
Since the time the article was submitted, The City has made the decision to put the sessions on hold to allow more time for the designers to be selected for the project. As the design component is a critical component of the project, we want to ensure we are thorough in our selection process.
At this time, it’s anticipated the workshops will take place in late 2017 or early 2018. More information will be provided once the new timelines have been confirmed. We apologize for any inconvenience this scheduling change may cause. If you have any questions, please call 311 or visit
